Nick Lake - Founder and Senior Partner
HND Building Surveying, BSc Honours Construction Project Management.
Nick is the senior partner and has been practicing Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management since 1994 and Building Surveying since 2016. He has been a quantity surveyor and commercial manager in civil engineering, new build housing, asset & estate management including facilities management.
Nick has extensive experience in residential matters, specialising in a wide variety of residential inspections and surveying. These include Building Surveys, Home Buyers Reports and Home Condition Surveys if needed. Development Appraisals can also be undertaken.
Nick has been in the education system since 1994 striving to further educate in the Surveying Industry.

Chloe Radford - Business Development Manager
Chloe has been working within the property industry for nine years, starting as a Lettings Negotiator in 2014 for the largest estate agency group in the UK. Chloe went on to work for an independent agent in Harpenden and St Albans for a further two year, until moving to a village estate agent where she was for a further four years.
Chloe moved across to the sales department which included; taking properties onto the market, negotiating offers and overseeing sale progression to completion. As a result of her hard work, Chloe was promoted to Lettings Manager and overseeing the management side of the lettings portfolio before we had the delight of her joining us here at Civilised Surveying Services Ltd in January 2023 to implement her skillset and knowledge of the property industry.
Chloe is in the first year of the Level 3 Surveying Technician programme to become a fully qualified
and accredited member of the RICS in the spring 2025.
